MEGALO FOOD AND SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED is a venture by 3rd generation poultry entrepreneurs.
Megalo is engaged in contract farming activities with poultry farmers across southern India. Our Parent company operates across the nation in places like Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
As the Poultry Industry is currently going through a transitional phase. There is an increased level of uncertainty due to price fluctuations and volatile demands. It is essential to protect the interests of small and medium farmers by mitigating their risks associated with procurement of inputs, maintenance and the sale as well as the realization of outputs at a fair and reliable price.
At Megalo, we provide the required inputs of DOC (Day Old Chicks), Feeds at a fixed rate. Also, we buy-back the same grown-up saleable birds at a fixed rate throughout the agreement period.
Additionally, we assist the farmers by providing technical support from our veterinarians and field executives to ensure maximum returns.
CONTRACT FARMING MODEL

The company will ensure that the farmers engaged with our contract farming model get their required inputs at a fixed price for a period of 1 year, irrespective of the market price of the respective inputs.

The inputs as per the instruction and the requirement of the farmers will be delivered to thier farm's location. No hassle of transportation or the risks associated with transportation.

Once the chicks are placed our team of experienced Veterinarians and techncial executives will visit the farm on a weekly basis to ensure that the birds are in good condition.

After the birds have reached thier target weight, Megalo will buy back the grown up birds from farmers at a fixed price through out the year, irrespective of the market prices at the time of lifting.

The farmers will get an opportunity to complete 5 batches during the period of 1 year the contract is entered into for.

Interested farmer can make use of numerous government financial schemes such as PM Kissan, Mudra Loan scheme also seek assistance from institution like NABARD.
